Jonny

My wee cousin Jonny, think he was maybe 2 years old here. He's about 11 now and would probably kill me for posting this photo online.

Olympus OM 20, Colour film.

Puddles...

Reflections - got to love them! :) I remember taking this one while on a photography college trip to the Gloucester docks. Everyones cameras were focused on the docks (the reason for the trip, after all)...and there i was taking a photo of a puddle. Conclusion? Sometimes it's better not to pay attention to what everyone else is doing, don't follow the crowd, use your imagination...

Sausage, Sage & Onion Stuffing

And so the random posts begin...

I'm posting this recipe up online because i've promised to send it to my cousin for months, (she was probably craving it throughout her pregnancy, bless her cotton socks), and i never got round to sharing it with her. Cousin fail!
In all honesty, this is the nicest stuffing recipe i have ever stumbled upon, it's real tasty served with chicken, and such a simple recipe to follow.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

ps: Hey Naomi, this is for you x

Sausage, Sage & Onion Stuffing

Ingredients:

* 2 Onions sliced
* 25g Butter
* 1 Small bramley apple, peeled, cored & diced
* 400g pack pork sausages removed from skins, or sausage meat
* Handful sage leaves, chopped
* 140-200g bread crumbs (batch loaf is pretty nice)

Method:

* Fry the onion in the butter for 5 minutes, then add the apple and cook briefly.
* Allow the onion & apple to cool, then mix in the remaining ingredients & season with salt and black pepper.
* Fill a small loaf tin with the ingredients and cook in the oven for 35-45 minutes at 200 degrees. Alternatively, roll into balls and cook for 35-45 minutes with the chicken.

End product should look something like this:

Good luck!

In too deep...

Yet again, another old shot, taken back in 2000. Same camera as in previous post, black and white film.
This was taken when the flood waters hit Worcester, UK. I took a bunch of photos that day, but sometimes you find yourself taking several photos and only a few of them end up being any good.
Anyway...this one was my favourite that day!

First steps...

So...my 1st post! I'll start off with one of the first portrait photos i took years ago (2000) when i started my photography course at Worcester sixth form college. My younger brother, Izzy.
(Taken with an Olympus OM 20 SLR film camera).
I no longer use film cameras, rolling with the times etc, it is far more handy having a digital SLR camera, especially giving that the prints are obtainable straight away. Personally, i'll always prefer the quality of photos taken with film cameras. If only i had my own dark room! Woe is me, etc etc.
