Nature in all of it's abundance

Saturday 30th June 2012 - The sun finally decided to make a bit of an appearance which prompted Lily, Darren and Myself to jump in the car and head out towards Newcastle for a family day out. We all had a lovely day, Lily really enjoyed herself, and I can't stress enough...kids need to get out and do more things/see more places these days. Stick the xboxes/playstations/wii's/Tv's in a box for the day. Whatever happened to the good old days of outdoors adventure and exploring?
We've all been consumed by technology and it's sadly consuming our kids too.
We seem to have forgotten how beautiful the world around us is.
